Ogun state Governor, Ibikunle Amosun has expressed dismay about the about the planned indefinite strike by labour unions in the state charging the unions to be reasonable enough about their demands.
The labour unions in the state had threatened to commennced an indefinite strike over unpaid 12 months deductions.
Speaking in Abeokuta during the town hall meeting for the 2017 budget held at the June 12 cultural centre, Amosun commended the residents for their understanding and support for his administration's policies and programmes adding that his government is poised tod more.

The Governor who assured residentsof the state of more developmental projects called for more support and cooperation of the people of ogun state.

Amosun also used the avenue to caution the leaders of the indistrial unions in the state to be reasonable on their demands stressing that no single individual or group is bigger than the state.

The indefinite strike over the unpaid 12 months deduction is expected to commenced today but the state governmenr is pleading with the unions to reconsider their action.

The event attracted members of the organiaed private sector, market men and women, community and traditional ruler, associations among others.
