The Defense Headquarters has reacted to the exhortation to President Muhammadu Buhari to surrender power to the Nigerian military. 

Robert Clarke, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) requested that the military should take over and rebuild Nigeria. 

An assertion by Brigadier General Onyema Nwachukwu, Director of Defense Information, said the Armed Forces of Nigeria remain completely dedicated to the current organization and all related vote based establishments. 

The representative noticed that the military will keep on excess objective, subordinate to the common power, immovably faithful to the Commander-in-Chief, President Buhari and the 1999 Constitution as corrected. 

Nwachukwu added that the military will keep on releasing its obligations expertly, secure the nation's vote based system, shield the regional trustworthiness of the country and ensure of lives and properties of residents.
