The Federal Government has responded to a viral video appearing around 500 Nigerians being embarrassed in Ghana. 

A few Nigerians could be found in the viral video arguing for help after they were captured and kept at the boundary territory. 

Communicating in Igbo language, one of the Nigerians who portrayed their experience in the video, said, "It's a truly awful thing. Our circumstance here is incredibly horrible. 

"We have talked a lot, yet they denied. They utilized security and Immigration to confine us here. Which is extremely back. 

"The solitary thing they did was to give us a shelter to conceal us from the sun. No food. They have starved us from that point forward. 

"Since Tuesday they carried us to Aflao, they have not given us food till today that is Saturday. 

"We have been calling. Nothing to do. Nobody is helping us. Whatever help you individuals can give us, kindly, help us." 

Responding, Chairman of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), Abike Dabiri-Erewa, said the Nigerian mission in Ghana is now on top of the matter. 

As per her, a few Nigerians who as of late got away from an escape in the nation have been illicitly making their approaches to Ghana. 

"The Nigerian mission in Ghana is managing the matter. A few detainees who supposedly got away from an escape here in Nigeria have been purportedly found disappearing to Ghana during this period through illicit methods. The Nigerian mission has been connecting with the Ghanaian specialists," she tweeted.
